On the mountain biking circuit both Mike Conklin and George Whalen placed first in the downhill races at Platekill, While on the BMX track Macklind Lorenz won golds on both Saturday and then again on Sunday to round out the weekend.

In upstate New York bike shops are seasonal, and to be able to operate at the capacity we’d like to during the cycling season- we do other things in the off season! After-all, if a ski shop can turn into stores that sell patios in the summer, it shouldn’t be too crazy for a couple bike shop guys to use their marketing backgrounds in the off season.
